OFFICE SPACE NORTH DORSET
Tenants at The Wincombe Centre have been lucky enough to enjoy Peter Hardiman’s art work for months as he used our walls to display his canvases.
Now the walls are bare and Peter is showing in his first Gallery. Pop down to the Shaftesbury Arts Centre to see a full collection of his work:

Peter is a contemporary abstract artist based in North Dorset. He works predominantly with oils on canvas using both a palette knife and paintbrush. Peter has always been interested in exploring the relationship between immense urban settings and they are often deeply-contrasting accompanying skylines and water bodies, using an expressionist approach. Often multiple canvases are used to convey the vast scale and range of colours while still keeping to a broad-stroke expressionistic style. Peter is also interested in expressing movement and vivacity of people using very complex colour sequences; abstract figurative shapes are used to explore this theme which loosely adheres to cubist tradition.
