Brilliant Harvest Installations Ltd, formed in 2010 near Bruton in Somerset by founder Jeff Ingvaldson, is installing the high quality Solar PV  array.  Brilliant Harvest Installations have grown into the largest specialised PV Company in the area. In the last 6 months they have installed 760kWp of Solar PV Panels – (that is more than 3,400) and they have 18 workers and are installing approximately 100kW per week.

We will bring you more news as the installation completes.  We are hoping to generate some of our own electricity and thus begin to take control of spiralling energy costs in order to keep our licence fees competetive and affordable!

Its called ‘ROCK’ at Raynes Park and, after its opening last Wednesday, is already proving to be a great success.

ROCK FOOD AND EVENTS is an event catering company providing outstanding food and impeccable service to the private and corporate sectors in Dorset, Wiltshire, Somerset, Hampshire, London and beyond. The restaurant is their first and is a coming together of the partner’s extensive experience in the industry:  Jonny’s hospitality, front of house, and event management know how and Nick’s Michein Star standard culinary Skills.

Only 15 minutes from Waterloo Station, and right outside Raynes Park station, the restaurant also has a bar selling fabulous local beers  – well worth a visit if you are travelling nearby.

The Wincombe Centre wishes them every success with their new venture!

That’s hopefully what we aim to do by our get togethers at the Centre.  Last Thursday 18 of us took the time out of our busy working days to meet up over an informal ‘munch’.  As Centre Mananger, it was nice to be able to introduce new tenants and to get people talking about their businesses.  We have such a variety of different skills on offer here and it was great to chat about any difficulties that small businesses might face as well as brainstorming ideas.

It’s been a busy few weeks!

The Centre is now 100% occupied which is amazing.  All our small businesses are thriving despite the current economic climate.  Some of our tenants have upsized to grow their business and others have downsized to keep their costs under control and to stay profittable.  Hopefully The Wincombe Centre gives businesses the opportunity to respond to changes like these and to remain successsful.  Small business success however is mainly down to very hard working individuals…and we have a lot of those at the Centre!  Lets hope they and we continue to go from strength to strength!
